On Wednesday 10th May, 2023, Borno Women Development Initiative and other humanitarian actors received the presence of UN high delegation representatives (UNHCR country representative, UN assistant secretary general [adviser on internal displacement], IOM chief of mission, and other UN delegates) in Pulka and Bama. The purpose of the mission was to understand the key challenges faced by all cluster leads and other actors, protection concerns, GBV risks, coping mechanisms. The delegation in Banki also visited Nigerian broader to observe the activities of the security operatives and the affected population at the point of entry.
